Arab Health is the largest medical and health trade fair in the Middle East and North Africa. It has taken place in January each year since 1975 in the Arabian metropolis of Dubai. From 30 January to 2 February 2017, 4,400 exhibitors from 70 different countries presented their innovations for the industry at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Our major highlight at the stand this year was the Evario hospital bed. This new product was first presented at the MEDICA in November 2016 and in Dubai it impressed many more international dealers and hospitals. Around 20 dealers who already market Stiegelmeyer products in their regions were given the chance to inspect the Evario in detail at a specially organised dealers' meeting far away from the often hectic comings and goings of the trade fair.
The Evario's modular system with its many optional features enables hospitals to put together the right bed for its various wards. Visitors were particularly taken with the easy operation of the new Protega safety sides made of plastic and with the integrated operating panel for nursing staff and patients.
In addition to the Evario, Stiegelmeyer also exhibited the innovative Puro hospital bed, the Sicuro pesa intensive care bed and the Libra care bed.
