Successful premiere in Salzburg
Baby cot Jovie at the Austrian Midwives' Congress
The Mozart city of Salzburg was the perfect place to present our new baby cot Jovie to the public. "Blossoming in Salzburg during the magnolia season" was the promise made by the organisers of the Austrian Midwives' Congress – and the Jovie, which just won the iF Design Award, blended in perfectly with this positive atmosphere for new beginnings.
Our Austrian partner ZS Medizintechnik presented the new bed in Salzburg. The Jovie immediately passed the practical test: The Stiegelmeyer snuggle bunny had to make room when a visitor spontaneously placed her toddler in the bed. The young customer happily played there and studied our brochures – perfectly protected by the bed's stability and high transparent protective side panel. Anita Barthofer from ZS Medizintechnik won the hearts of the visitors and was able to convince them with good arguments.
The Jovie has had a successful start overall, with around 100 orders received in the first few days after the launch. The hospitals receive a standard-compliant, future-proof bed that relieves nursing staff, supports parents and offers children space to feel comfortable. Especially in times of lack of staff and financial uncertainty, maternity wards benefit from a baby cot that, for example, noticeably reduces the physical exertion of nursing staff through its height adjustability and makes an excellent impression through its comfort and appealing design.
After the lively event in Salzburg, there will soon be the opportunity to discover the Jovie "live" in Germany. Stiegelmeyer will have a stand at the German Midwives Congress in Berlin from 15 to 17 May. At the Hotel Estrel on Sonnenallee, the motto is "Encounter, Education, Alliances". Our team is looking forward to many encounters and good conversations.
