Best quality for the Middle East
Stiegelmeyer Group presents beds and bedside cabinets at Arab Health
German engineering skills, international experience and a success story spanning more than 120 years: these are the strengths of the Stiegelmeyer Group. Germany's leading manufacturer of medical beds offers solutions for hospitals, nursing homes and homecare. In addition to beds, the portfolio of the family-run company also includes bedside cabinets, furniture and digital assistance systems. Visitors to Arab Health can now get a comprehensive overview.
The Stiegelmeyer Group is significantly increasing its efforts in the Middle East. Mohammed Hifawi has started work in Amman as the new Area Sales Manager for the region. He is looking forward to developing customised offers for all areas of health and nursing care together with local customers.
Of particular interest at Arab Health is the Evario one hospital bed with its wide range of features. This makes it suitable for use in many areas of the hospital as well as for the demands of international markets.
A particularly attractive feature of the bed is the choice between two modern safety side systems. The split ¾-safety side supports early mobilisation of the patient. Lowering its foot-side element creates sufficient free space to leave the bed. The second system, the full-length ¾-safety side, is a good choice for smaller rooms. It swings down quietly without taking up additional space at the side of the bed. Its delicate bars offer an unrestricted view into the room.
The staff is relieved by the customised operating concepts of the bed. An intuitive handset is available for all versions. If the bed is equipped with the split ¾-side safety sides, integrated control panels can also be selected on both sides of the bed. On the inside, they offer comfortable adjustment options for the patient. The outside combines important functions for nursing staff and in-house technicians.
Ideally, bed and bedside cabinet form a coordinated unit with many possibilities. The space-saving Quado bedside cabinet can simply be attached to the head or footboard of the bed and pushed along when the patient is transferred. This makes the transfer effortless for a single nursing staff member. The easy mobility of the Quado also makes it a practical mobile companion. Equipment and medication for nursing rounds, material for medical routines as well as cleaning agents can be transported effortlessly.
The new Vitano electric bedside cabinet offers a high level of comfort for patients in the elective services and VIP segment. USB connections and an inductive charging surface make it possible to use smartphones as comfortably as at home. With the optional refrigerator drawer, a refreshing drink is always ready.
Newborns enjoy a pleasant start in life with the Jovie baby bed. It can be easily moved next to the mother's bed and adjusted to mattress height. The height adjustment range of 50 to 75 cm and the manual tilt into the reverse-Trendelenburg position allow ideal health-promoting positioning in every situation.
Homelike design, preservation of mobility, comfort day and night – this is what the care beds of the Stiegelmeyer Group stand for. The Stiegelmeyer brand sells beds for inpatient nursing care facilities, while the Burmeier brand serves the homecare market. In Dubai, the Elvido from Stiegelmeyer and the Lenus from Burmeier will be on display.
The Elvido is a bed that flexibly adapts to all requirements. With its Vario Safe system, split safety sides, side panels and head and footboards can be removed and replaced without tools. This enables individual and at the same time economical use of several Elvido beds in one facility. The modern Out-of-Bed system OOB Smart reports via many channels if a fall-prone resident leaves the Elvido, thus considerably increasing safety.
Fall prevention is also the great strength of the Lenus ultra-low bed. In its lowest position close to the floor of only 15 cm, residents with severe dementia, for example, enjoy a great deal of freedom of movement without being constantly exposed to the risk of fall injuries. At the same time, the bed can also be raised to an ergonomic working position of 80 cm.
